A secure meeting lobby section can be incorporated into most existing public service counter layouts. This additional area allows for the public to interact with members of staff in a secure and confidential environment. The lobby area includes total privacy and confidentiality from both the remaining public and staff positions on the service counter as the overall design includes access doors to both sides of the counter. The internal ceiling area includes acoustic rated insulated fireproof panels fitted above the suspended ceiling to eliminate any sound from within the meeting area.
The polished stainless steel structural design incorporates “opal” obscure laminated glazed panels to the lower area from floor level to assist with privacy. The remaining upper glazed panels consist of clear laminated glazed panels which allow for staff to view if the area is occupied or if an emergency situation arises. The public access door can offer an option of being automated to only allow public access from a member of staff by means of a remote switch to unlock the door when required.
The meeting lobby can be incorporated to a number of staff positions on a public service counter allowing for a privacy area to multiple service points which may be of assistance during peak working times.
